this Act concern regulations: • governing the procedures and methods by which and the terms and conditions for permits, licences, timber quotas and agreements • respecting collecting Crown charges • respecting charges for damage to timber • establishing fees for the giving of the Minister’s consent to an assignment of a timber disposition or a timber quota • governing all aspects of reforestation and afforestation on public land; • designating primary timber products; • regulating all primary timber processing and primary timber processing plants; • regulating the transport of timber and timber products and all matters incidental to that transport; • governing the keeping of records relating to timber production and sales and purchases of timber and timber products; • governing the management and use of forest land; • prescribing contraventions of an ALSA (alberta land stewardship act) regional plan, this Act or the regulations in respect of which an administrative penalty may be imposed.
