Alberta’s Renewable Fuels Standard (RFS) requires renewable fuels be included in fuels that are sold to customers like gasoline and diesel. A fuel supplier must ensure that the gasoline fuel that it places in the Alberta market in a compliance period contains, on average, no less than 5% qualifying renewable alcohol content by volume.
