Resolution 909-2008: Establishes standards for allowable emission of pollutants into the atmosphere from stationary sources and gives the terms of reference for : a. Industrial activities b . External combustion equipment for solid, liquid and gaseous fuels c . Thermal power plants with the same, higher or lower than 20 mw for solid, liquid and gaseous installed capacity d . Existing activities of manufacture of refined petroleum to solid, liquid and gaseous e . Manufacture of refractory ceramic, non-refractory clay and, for solid, liquid and gaseous f. Textiles Manufacture (PM , SOx , NO2 ) g. New and existent External combustion equipment using biomass h. cement, concrete and aggregates industries (particulate material) i. Offload points for new mining facilities (particulate material) j. Existent cement ovens and dryers for raw materials in cement plants k. Facilities where heat treatment is conducted for waste and / or hazardous waste l. Facilities where heat treatment is conducted at non-hazardous waste
