Factsheet: National Council of Climate Change

This Presidential Regulation provides for the establishment of the National Council of Climate Change and defines its internal organization and its tasks. Functions and tasks of the Council include: formulating national policies, strategies, programs and activities on climate change control efforts and coordinating these activities; formulating policies on the mechanisms and procedures of carbon trade; and strengthening the bargaining position of Indonesia at international forums in controlling climate change.
