Poly4EmI (Polymers for Emerging Industries)

Key Information
The project Poly4EmI is one of six projects selected by the European Commission (DG Enterprise and Industry - DG ENTR) in response to a call "Clusters and Entrepreneurship and Support of Emerging Industries' Framework Programme for Competitiveness and Innovation (Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme - CIP). The project is coordinated by the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology of the Republic of Slovenia, with the following founding partners: (i) Automotive Cluster of Slovenia (ACS); (ii) Center of Excellence Polimat; (iii) Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (CCIS) and (iv) PCCL (Polymer Competence Center Leoben, Austria).
The aim of the project is to develop a common platform of regional clusters (involving companies and research organizations) to promote entrepreneurship and new business solutions in the field of bio-based economy. In addition, the project will contribute to the placement of bio-based economy in the Slovenian context.
